How ?
It's done by protecting your precious things with an extremely dense artificial fog
("smoke"). The smoke is produced as soon as your intruder alarm is activated.
The villain now has a real problem, he or she cannot see what they want to steal and
the vapour cloud is also quite frightening! Several years of experience shows that the
villain simply leaves as quickly as possible.

Major insurance companies are insisting on Smokecloak protection. The new British
Standard BS7939:1999 has been formulated to address the concerns of the Insurance, Fire
and Police organisations. The guidelines set a minimum requirement for the security
industry to minimise risk whilst not compromising protection.
SmokeCloak was the first smoke security product on the market and is
the best. The patented technology ensures that SmokeCloak and its approved
installers are the only company that can offer intelligent smoke density control.
For example, if windows or doors are opened in attempt to disperse the smoke, the system
will react and maintain the smoke density and therein property protection (it is the only
system that can do this!). A Cloak sensor automatically produces more smoke if the intruder
attempts to remove the smoke.
In the UK, the Loss Prevention Council who advise the insurance industry, recently
released report # 19145 where it stated: -
"LPC considers that Smokecloak will be of particular use in protecting premises
where portable, high value goods are stored. These are increasingly being stolen in
"fast smash" raids, where thieves ignore intruder alarm and CCTV systems,
getting away before Police or other response is possible. Apart from large quantities of
physical security and/or 24hr manned guarding, there does not appear to be any other
reliable measures available at present to prevent this type of loss."
